We are very proud to announce that Yee Yu, Chief Information Officer of Hung Hing Printing Group Limited, has been named “DX Leader of the Year” by IDC at the 2nd IDC Digital Transformation Awards (DXa) 2018 in Hong Kong on September 20, 2018.
IDC DXa recognizes organizations that have significantly disrupted the market or have transformed it, using digital and disruptive technologies. Digital determination is key to succeeding in the marketplace. What distinguishes leaders from the others is their determination in making radical and often difficult changes; starting with their organizational structure, having a single strategy, new metrics, and an integrated technology platform for scale.
This “DX Leader of the Year” award aims to recognize executive within the organization that have played a determining role in setting the vision and responsible for the execution of the digital transformation initiative. He/She would be the role model within their organization on how they manage the continuous transition from old to new tech, experimental to operational in the context of digital transformation, empowering their employees, and have enabled innovations which have been integrated into the existing organization.
This year’s awards consist of seven categories. Winners for each category were selected by IDC analysts and a panel of independent judges composed of industry thought-leaders, veterans, and academia.
As the country winner from Hong Kong, Yee Yu will join winners from 10 other countries across Asia Pacific at the upcoming IDC’s Regional DX Summit in Singapore in late October to share stories from his digital transformation journey.
Mr. Yu has been with the Group since 2010. This award adds to Yee’s long track record of excellence and recognitions. He was previously named Top 50 CIO in China 2017, Hong Kong CIO of the Year (Medium Enterprise) 2017, CIO of the Month 2015, and led the Beluga team in winning the Hong Kong ICT Award and PCM eKids Distinguish Award.
