Beluga’s innovations recognised in FUJIFILM’s Innovation Print Awards
Beluga is proud to announce that two of its innovative products received prestigious awards from FUJIFILM Business Innovation (FUJIFILM BI) at drupa in Germany in early June.
At an award ceremony for the Innovation Print Awards, Hung Hing was presented three awards for two of Beluga’s innovative products from senior management of FUJIFILM BI. The awards include:
In the “Wide Format Applications” category
• The “GraphiChair” received First Prize in the Innovation Print Awards 2024 (mainly targeting Asia Pacific entries); and
• Runner-up in the Global Innovation Print Awards 2024 (targeting worldwide entries)
In the “Creative Design” category
• The “MiniBag” received the First Prize in the Global Innovation Print Awards 2024
According to FUJIFILM BI, it appointed a team of distinguished, independent professionals from the Graphic Communications industry to assess all entries using the following criteria:
• Output Quality (print quality and finishing quality)
• Degree of Innovation (includes use of Digital Technology, use of unique substrates or same materials in a new way)
• Business Effectiveness (successful business model, application led to business opportunities, shelf appeal)
• Overall Creativity (overall aesthetic, suitability of design, communication design, use of materials & colours etc.)
FUJIFILM BI started this Innovation Print Awards (IPA) in 2007 to inspire its customers to be revolutionary and creative with print. Originally focused on Asia Pacific markets, the IPA has gone global this year. Altogether, the IPA has received 460 entries from 16 countries and locations worldwide to compete in 18 categories, 13 of which are printing project categories. The multiple awards presented to Beluga not only showcase our design team's excellence but also affirm our position as a leader in innovative print solutions on the global stage.
