We are very proud to announce that Yee Yu, Chief Information Officer of Hung Hing Printing Group Limited, has been named China Top CIO.  At the 16^th China Top CIO Awards in Beijing this past Saturday (January 27, 2018), Yee Yu was among the leading IT leaders to receive the China Top CIO Award.  The award was organized by CEO & CIO China magazine, CIO.com.cn, and New Finance World.

The annual “China Top CIO Award” is the most well-respected and authoritative award, and dubbed the Academy Awards for the IT industry in Greater China.  About 800 nominations of the country’s top CIOs were received last year, according to the organizers.  Winners were picked by a panel of close to 20 industry experts, leading IT professionals, and representatives from enterprises and academia in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in a four-month selection process.

The theme this year is Driving Extraordinary Growth (野蛮生长).  It aims to recognize and celebrate remarkable achievements by IT leaders that use IT in innovative ways to deliver competitive advantage to the enterprise and enable exceptional growth, especially CIOs who raised the bar with extraordinary contributions by extraordinary means in extraordinary areas.

Mr. Yu has been with the Group since 2010.  This award is the second prestigious industry recognition he receives as CIO of Hung Hing in the past twelve months, adding to the Hong Kong CIO of the Year Award he received back in March 2017.   He was also previously featured as CIO of the month by PCM Magazine.

由计世传媒、《IT经理世界》杂志社、新金融世界联合主办的”2017年度中国优秀CIO评选”在1月27日在北京揭晓。鸿兴印刷有限公司资讯科技总监余仁义获得今年中国最优秀CIO殊荣。本届评选主题是【野蛮生长】，表彰创新，鼓励跨界，特别寻找用“非常手段”、在“非常领域”做出“非常贡献”、突破传统角色的CIO。此次评选活动于2017年10月份启动，历时4个月最终完成。主办方秉承严肃、务实、专业的态度，对来自中国大陆、中国香港地区、中国台湾地区近800余份评选问卷以及推荐问卷进行仔细遴选后，通过缜密的案例分析、研究，对候选CIO在2017年度创新工作做出客观评价，继而交由10多位专家组成的评选委员会进行评审，最终评选出 50名”中国优秀CIO”。
