Team Hung Hing has won the Smart Business (Solutions for Business and Public Sector Enterprise) Gold Award (商業方案獎) at the Hong Kong ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Awards 2019, for its in-house developed business solution – Smart Planning (智能生產計劃平台).

The HKICT Awards is one of the most prestigious and reputable IT award events in Hong Kong, and the Smart Business Award is one of the eight categories. It recognizes outstanding locally developed business applications which provide cost-effective and innovative IT solutions to business enterprises as well as public sector organizations, through the deployment of proven and emerging information technologies.

Smart Planning is an Industry 4.0 business solution created to optimize machine utilization, enhance productivity and enable real-time visibility into production activities. It combines with traditional ERP system to enable digital practices of smart factory.

As part of the evaluation process for the award, two rounds of oral presentation were given and winners were chosen by an esteemed panel of business leaders and industry professionals from the IT business sector. Judging criteria are based on innovation and creativity, functionality, market potential/performance, benefit and impact and overall quality of the product.

Hung Hing is no stranger to the HKICT Awards. Back in 2014, Beluga, the design and innovation hub of Hung Hing, received a Certificate of Merit in the Best Lifestyle Award (Learning & Living) Award for its Little Musician series. This gold award is the highest accolade Hung Hing has ever received at the HKICT Awards and once again demonstrates the company’s IT and creative prowess.

The winning solution, Smart Planning, will be showcased at the ICT Award Pavilion in the Hong Kong ICT Expo at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC) on April 13 and 16. Team Hung Hing will also host a sharing session on April 16. Come see us if you happen to be in the area.
